I wish to object to this proposal on the grounds of the CO2 emissions from this plant as this will adversely effect the already fragile (poor) air quality which we are all experiencing in Cardiff. The Welsh Government has already slowed the speed limits to 50 MPH on the roads around Cardiff in a bid to try and mitigate the CO2 emissions in Cardiff. If the proposal is to be sanctioned by the Welsh Government there needs to be the recognition from Mor Hafren Bio Power that they and they alone will be responsible for the 100,000 tonnes of C02 they will be emitting from the plant each year. As there is no carbon capture in this plant where are the plans for the thousands of new trees required to offset the C02 emissions.
