Concerns would be that HGV’s accessing the site do not use the B4239 as it is not suitable for large vehicles due to the 90 degree bends in both Peterstone and St. Brides where long vehicles have to cross the white lines to negotiate the bends. Similarly when large vehicles meet other traffic on the railway bridge in St. Brides. Both situations cause congestion when vehicles have to reverse when they cannot pass one another. This has been experienced by most residents during recent years. Could this be addressed in any Traffic Management Plan? Another concern raised by residents is the plume from the stacks which may impact on the area.
