The Development comprises seven three-bladed, horizontal axis wind turbines. Four turbines are up to a maximum tip height of 149.9m and three turbines are up to a maximum tip height of 130m. The seven turbines will have a total installed capacity of approximately 25MW. The Development would include a newly created site entrance, new access tracks, crane hardstanding, control building and substation compound, electricity transformers, underground cabling, energy storage containers (Battery storage facility with a proposed capacity of 20MW) and drainage works. The purpose of the Development is the generation, storage and export of renewable electricity. The Development will generate electricity through onshore wind technology.
